SSDP's Europe Global Fellow, Orsi Feher, has addressed the CND during this year's the thematic discussions on chapter four of the UNGASS outcome document, Operational recommendations on cross-cutting issues: Drugs and human rights, youth, children, women and communities. Orsi's speech highlighted our peer-education program, Just Say Know and introduced the global youth coalition, Paradigma's Asks for the upcoming High Level Ministerial Segment in 2019. We are preparing for the reconvened session in December with translations of the Youth Asks for every delegation to understand how they can truly "leave noone behind".

Elena from SSDP Austria spoke on the non-medical use of Cannabis Sativa at the first ever INCB civil society hearing last week. She stressed the importance of re-thiking cannabis regulation with the complexitiy of this plant in mind and demonstrated that non-medical use does not necessarily equal recreational use. #cannabis #rethinkcannabis #incb #ssdp https://ssdp.org/blog/cannabis-sativa-economics-and-sustainability/
