Goal 2 of SDG of the United Nations;
Hunger is a craving or urgent need for food or a specific nutrient. It has now become a global problem. More than 820 million people in the world suffer from chronic hunger. It is a major contributing factor in premature death. Ending hunger and achieving food security remain major challenges for people everywhere. To end hunger we must tackle its root causes.We need to end hunger to ensure the Developing and Under-Developing Countries have access to the foods and livelihood opportunities needed to live securely and comfortably. We already possess the knowledge and the resources to end hunger, now we need to use our assets in the most effective way to make positive change.
While ending world hunger is of course not an easy task, and few people even with the best of intentions have the same approaches, it’s not idealistic to say that within our lifetime we absolutely can ensure that no person goes hungry again.
